Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Currio app ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Currio is a currency converter application for iOS that provides exchange rate information and currency conversion tools. The App is provided for informational purposes only.

3. No Financial Advice

Exchange rates displayed in the App are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. Rates may differ from actual transaction rates offered by banks and financial institutions. Currio is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the information provided.

4. Subscriptions (Currio+)

  • Currio offers an optional paid subscription ("Currio+") with enhanced features.
  • Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Subscription management and payment processing is handled by RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com), acting as our subscription infrastructure provider.

5. Free Version & Advertising

The free version of Currio displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob (https://admob.google.com). Ad content is determined by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies.

6. iCloud Sync & Backup

Currio offers optional iCloud synchronization and backup features. These are disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled by the user. iCloud data is stored in your private iCloud account and is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.

7. Location Services

Currio offers an optional feature to detect your local currency based on your location. This feature requires explicit permission and processes all location data locally on your device. No location data is sent to external servers.

8. Accuracy of Data

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date exchange rates, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Exchange rates are sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code of the Currio app are the intellectual property of Currio. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Currio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses based on displayed exchange rates.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
